Meet Chris

 

With a strong background in investments, tax, and estate planning, Chris advises clients in all facets of their financial lives. He is passionate about helping people make confident financial decisions, and to reduce the anxiety that those decisions can bring. A lifelong learner, Chris enjoys the challenge of keeping up with the ever-changing world of financial planning and using that knowledge to help clients meet their financial and life goals.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After a short career in media services, he returned to school and earned an MBA with emphasis in Finance and Securities Analysis from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. While completing his MBA, Chris was selected to join the Carlson Funds Enterprise, a student managed investment fund. Chris and eight fellow students managed over $17 million in fixed income assets, including Treasury, Agency, and Mortgage Backed Securities, as well as Corporate Bonds. Chris earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™️ designation from the Certified Financial Planning Board.

Prior to joining our firm, Chris worked as a Tax and Wealth Consultant for Keebler & Associates, LLP, helping clients with IRA planning, tax-efficient investment planning, tax-efficient withdrawal of retirement assets, and other Trust & Estate issues.

Chris and his wife, Amanda, reside in Ledgeview with their two children, Leo and Cora. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising, golf, and spending time at the family cottage at Point Comfort on Green Bay and his wife’s family cottage on Kelly Lake.
