Meet Jeremy


 


Jeremy Weller enjoys close and meaningful relationships with his clients. His diverse life experiences help him to provide actionable advice in an easyto-understand manner. His mission is to help clients “make work optional” and advocates leading a financially balanced lifestyle. His specialties include retirement income planning and investment management with an emphasis on asset distribution and income tax planning.


Jeremy is a Wisconsin native, growing up with the Packers, hunting, sports, and Scouting in the Wausau area. After earning his Eagle Scout rank, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he honorably served from 1996 to 2004, initially as a Machine Gunner with the Marine Corps Security Forces counter-terrorism battalion and then as an infantry Section Leader & Platoon Sergeant with the 8th Marine Regiment. He later lateral-moved to the Military Police field where he became a criminal investigator at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay with specialized training in interview & interrogation and personal protection. After his military career, Jeremy worked as a high-threat personal protection specialist for numerous senior ranking Department of State and Department of Defense personnel in the Middle East.


Jeremy began his financial career in 2006 as a branch manager with Wachovia Bank in Norfolk, Virginia. In 2010, he relocated to Wisconsin to be closer to family and, in 2011, became a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Green Bay. After earning the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation from the College of Financial Planning, he joined Heritage Financial Partners as a Wealth Advisor and Partner.


Jeremy attended school at Champlain College and Ashford University, and studied Consumer Finance and Financial Planning at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is active in his community, currently serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster in Boy Scout Troop 1039; Past Master of Washington Lodge #21 F & AM of WI; and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #2113. He is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) and a Vigil Honor member of Tom Kita Chara Lodge #96. Jeremy and his wife, Emily, reside in De Pere, WI, along with their two children, Kyleigh and Jeremy. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, traveling, playing guitar, and about any activities his kids are involved in.
